We have the latest details on one of the favorite models from the Chevrolet lineup, and it looks like it will be getting a small makeover for the 2016 model year.

The Chevrolet Camaro has been rumored to be receiving a redesign for the 2016 year. With competitors like the Ford Mustang recently getting an overhaul, it comes as no surprise that Chevy is looking to do the same for the Camaro. The 2016 Camaro will get an entirely new platform to ride on, but reports indicate that it will not undergo any drastic styling changes. While the 2016 Camaro has not been unveiled, confidential accounts have reported to Edmunds that the sports car looks to have received a “refresh,” rather than a complete redesign. The new platform that the Camaro will ride on is the same as the Cadillac ATS and CTS, which will improve the handling of the car greatly. The current Camaro was first introduced in 2009, and received a small facelift back in 2014.

We won’t find out much more regarding the Camaro until it is unveiled in Detroit in 2015, so until then, we will just continue our speculative muscle car dreams.

Car dealers might soon be getting an interesting addition to their fleet of inventory. Chevrolet has announced that at the 2013 SEMA show in Las Vegas this year, it will be revealing the SEMA Chevy Spark EV. The car packs 400 pound feet of torque, which is just like the original Spark EV, will be able to get revved up without nearly a sound, and will be emissions free. The Tech Performance is a concept that utilizes instant torque, and will take its passengers from zero to sixty milers per hour in only seven and a half seconds. The SEMA Spark EV has also been equipped with stronger axles, and is packed with lightweight features for enhanced performance, that have not yet been revealed.

To add to the awesomeness of the car, it will be equipped with a backlit bowtie emblem on the grille of the vehicle, have green stitching on the steering wheel, and features a “flip-up” activation switch to add a bit of fun high-performance touch of style to the already cool car. The outside of the SEMA Spark EV is just as decked out as the interior. It comes with a ground effects package, that was created by 3dCarbon. Chevy made a design change to the front fascia and chin spoiler, added an upgraded sound system, and for an extra special touch, the compact car will feature ambient lighting.

This green(er) version of the car has no release date scheduled, but will definitely make an appearance at the SEMA show, so make sure to look for it!

While we all try to do our best to be the change in the world, nearly every driving American has gotten a citation of some sort while behind the wheel. While speeding is the most common of these, running stop signs, red lights, and illegal passing are some other popular choices. The responsibility of driving is a great one, and it is important that as drivers, we pay attention to where we are and what we are doing at all times. All too often, however, the screaming kids in the backseat, an incoming call, or a song on the radio distract us. We forget for a second what we are doing, and oftentimes, pay the price for our diverted attention. Police in Lake Elsinore, California, set out to test driver’s attention spans, by using an obvious decoy – and you wouldn’t believe what happened. [click to continue…]

There is nothing we love more then a tall tale. While some hobbies lend more stories than others, fishing seems to be one of those activities that lends itself very well to stretching the truth. Men and women alike tend to “catch-and-release” HUGE record-breaking fish nearly everyday. Unfortunately for them, with the advancement in cell phone technology and access to internet nearly everywhere around the world – it has gotten harder and harder to make up tall tales regarding what they reeled in for the day. Chevrolet has an amazingly solid lineup, and seems to be increasing the solidity of its vehicles with each passing year. Nearly half of the automaker’s 2014 models were complete redesigns, and those vehicles have had great success with their new and improved look, feel, and drive-ability. One of the auto giant’s popular models, the Chevy Malibu, recently turned fifty, and it was clear to executives at General Motors that the car was in need of an update. The 2014 Malibu offers even more upgrades than its previous redesign, and after starting production in Fairfax, Kansas and Detroit these last few weeks – the new model is making its way to car dealers across the United States. Marriage can be a wonderful thing, and arriving at the destination of marriage usually always involves a wedding of some type. Ceremonies can range from small justice-of-the-peace vows, or large parties with countless guests and jubilation. While it is not a mandatory part of the beginning of a new marriage, taking a honeymoon is a tradition that many newlyweds embark on. Some couples spend a few nights in a local hotel, while others go across the world to celebrate the start of their marriage. In Europe, going from one country to the next can be as easy as it is for us in the United States to drive from Cincinnati to Chicago. One German couple got married this past weekend, and their honeymoon didn’t quite go as planned. [click to continue…]
